Career Centers
The One-Stop Career Center system connects employment, education, and training services into a network of resources at one location. It is a consortium of public and private agencies serving the needs of both employers and job seekers alike. There are eight One-Stop Career Centers in Fresno County that provide these services:

Providing job training and placement for people with limited financial resources who are 55 or older, and to provide employers with trained, motivated workers.

Description: The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is designed to provide community service while assisting participants in their job search activities. Participants receive an Individual Employment Plan (IEP) and a training assignment in a government or non-profit agency to gain work experience. The training assignments are 20 hours a week and participants are compensated $6.75 an hour.
